The Potting Shed
THE POTTING SHED
The Potting Shed is an exciting project developed in partnership with East Staffordshire Borough Council’s Greenhouse Team. Our Sixth form students run The Potting Shed as a retail unit, selling a wide variety of top quality garden products, plants, shrubs and lots more to the public.
Students learn gardening skills, develop their customer service manner and take part in activities which will help to prepare them for the world of work. The Potting Shed is a non-profit project and aims to help develop the students' skills in retail and horticulture.
Now in its second year, the project has gone from strength to strength, with more and more local residents visiting The Potting Shed to learn about the project and purchase plants.
