Seals: Spring Term 1 Update
Welcome back we hope you have had a fantastic Christmas Break. We were very busy during the run up to Christmas with Drayton Manor, the pantomime at the Derby Theatre and not forgetting of course the wonderful Christmas production, we hope you all enjoyed it as much as the staff and children in Seals class did!
We would also like to thank you all for your continued support and please do not hesitate to contact any member of the Seals team if you require any information regarding your child whilst at school.
Our new science topic this term is “Habitats”, we will look how all living things require food, warmth and a safe place to live, we will compare animals and insects to how we all share the same basic living conditions to survive.
In our creative topic we will be exploring where and how the food we eat comes from and what types of food we need to stay healthy, we will hopefully be making a visit to a local farm and then explore the supermarkets to find the different produce after it comes from the farm.
The forest school is continuing to be extremely popular with all of the children and we all look forward to the new outside activities each week that Mrs Taylor teaches.
