Forest School: Weaving Wall
Week ending 1.2.19
This week has been very cold at Forest School. So cold that our pond has frozen. We took advantage of the frost on Thursday to make some frost pictures using black card.
We have also been busy making a weaving wall using lots of natural resources.
We have started to clear our nature area of brambles, so pupils have been learning how to use loppers safely to cut the bramble. It still needs a lot of work to make it a great habitat for wildlife, but we made a great start.
Some pupils also wanted to fix the free-standing den that had fallen down, so we did that. It was hard work, but it stood up in the end, and it kept us all warm moving the logs too.
