Forest School Autumn 2 Blog Update

Autumn term 2.

In Forest School this half term we had so much rain that the mud became extremely thick; great fun if you want to go squelching!

We used natural materials to make some land art and also made a variety of Christmas crafts this year including tree cookie baubles and reindeer.

Spring term 1.

Our Forest School area is still very muddy at the moment, so if you do have wellies please send them into school for your child to wear for Forest School sessions. A change of warm clothes that you don’t mind getting messy is also a great idea.

This half term we shall be thinking about animals in the garden and making some bird feeders using a variety of techniques. We shall also be making clay pots or animals and some dens.

We are hoping that the weather dries up a little so that the Forest School area dries out a bit.
