Eco Committee Update: December 2020

Eco schools is now established in 59,000 schools across 68 countries, we are very proud of our status and the eco committee will be conducting an environmental review in the New Year, this will give us more of an idea of where we need to focus our efforts within school.

We have already been looking at the Eco Schools ‘litter less’ campaign and highlighted that we want to do some litter picking on the school grounds and in the local community, we also want to make sure that every class uses their recycling bins, we have used the waste and recycling survey to give us an idea of what more we can do in school.

Biodiversity is very important to us here at Fountains and we want to continue to make the most of our Forest schools area and look after the trees and wildlife that live in it, it has been fantastic to see so many classes making bird feeders. We will keep you updated on all the projects we are involved in.
