Dyslexia Awareness Week 2016
Dyslexia Awareness Week 2016 takes place this week from 3rd October in England, Ireland and Wales, and the theme for this year is the Identification of Dyslexia'.
Information from the British Dyslexia Association
"Getting assessed and actually knowing if you might be dyslexic is a huge issue at any stage of an individual's journey. Dyslexia being a hidden disability can make identification difficult and we know that undiagnosed dyslexia is very common, with far too many people going into adulthood not aware that they have this learning difficulty. For this year's Dyslexia Awareness Week we want to prompt people to think and
consider if they or a family member, friend or colleague could be dyslexic."
