NURTURING SCHOOL

We are committed to giving pupils the opportunity to learn in a nurturing environment. We believe our school promotes the six principals of nurture which support self esteem, well being, behaviour, co-operative learning and problem solving. These skills feed back positively into classroom work and other settings.

We are currently working towards achieving the National Nurturing Schools award and hope to gain this by the end of the 2019 academic year. Here are some examples of how Nurture is embedded throughout the curriculum.
