We are a diverse group of young people who have exceptional needs, which makes us unique. We all have our own individual learning programmes but we also focus on life and personal independence skills to help us in our lives beyond Fountains High School. This includes addressing our sensory needs through a variety of interventions as well as community and social skills. Our curricula are flexible and constantly under development so that we can meet everybody’s needs through a range of learning styles and multi-sensory approaches. We promote functional communication through an holistic communication environment which includes speech, sign, symbols, pictures, photographs, gesture, objects of reference, PECS and augmentative communication (ICT).
